Hi

Based on your budget, you will need to check players and read the specs....

Brands within 10k range would be Sony, Samsung, LG, Philips etc.

Brands above the 10k would be high end models of Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer

Most expensive ones are Marantz, Denon and Oppo.

Pioneer BDP180 should work just fine.

Hi

If it is out of stock, possibly there could be a new model coming...if you are not in a rush, wait , else look at some Philips models..or panasonic

I've been trying to get Pioneer BDP-180 in Bangalore for almost 1.5 month. But everywhere it's out of stock. Now, considering Marantz UD5007 as fall-back if I don't get Pioneer BDP-180 in next few weeks.

Now, UD5007 is almost twice the cost of BDP-180. Is there any other alternative in between? Sony UHP-H1 or Yamaha BD-S681 etc are not available in India.
