Suggestions needed for Denon 791 from US

I am trying to get Denon 791 receiver(almost same as Denon 1911 with very few features missing) from US through one of my colleague traveling back to India this weekend.
Btw, got this for $430 @ BestBuy (Net price was $530, but got a $100 BestBuy gift card along)

I need some expert suggestions on 2 things

1. Any precautions to be taken during transportation?
We have planned to have the company sealed box checked in as is, in the hope that it would be more obvious for the folks handling the luggage that the box needs to be handled with care

2. Where can I get good step down transformer in Hyderabad, and is 750W isolated transformer sufficient for this?
Went through lot of threads/posts related to this, and understood that "Isolated type transformer" is the way to go, and I would need 1.5 times the power consumption marked for the device.
Denon 791 specs mention power requirement as 120V and 60Hz, with a maximum power consumption of 460W. So I would probably need a minimum of 700W capacity step down transformer, meaning I should look for either 750W or 1000W.
Two brands that were recommended in the forum were Maxine and MDR Electronics. But couldn't find any dealer/branch for either of them at Hyderabad.

There are some Maxine dealers in Gujarati Galli, Near Koti. I bought mine from Sanghvi Brothers.

Wasn't sure how reliable this site is.. please let me know if anybody has made purchases from this site. More over, they have listed "Torodial transformers" - not sure if they are same as the recommended isolated type.

Yes it from Gujarati Galli. If you are going for 5.1 setup, I think 750W should be fine.
