Hi All, Apologies if this is a duplicate thread. Dont mean to start a review thread or debate here but wanted a quick answer (like yes or No).

Am looking for a budget AV recvr (Dolby DTS wld do for now) to drive my bookshelves (MA BR2) and Surrounds (Pure Acoustics). 5.1 wld do with Sub Pre-OUT, need atleast 2 co-ax inputs and an optical. Dont need Comp vid or HDMI as source goes directly to TV. Stereo - Not bothered (as I have a Technics MOSFET 2 channel amp).
Movies - wld expect good punch and dynamics.

Pls suggest a good one. My primitive research yeilds to Sonodyne AV 300 R Yamaha RX V463 or Onlyo SR 307.

Appreciate a quick response with best prices in BLORE.

thanks
Ananth

To get the best VFM, look out for 5.1 to 7.1 AVRs WITHOUT HD Audio decoding, new or used. Onkyo 504 or 50* is a potential candidate.

If you are willing to take the risk of NO warranty and 110-220v converter, look at global ebay at ebay.in site.
