Suitable speakers for Marantz PM5004

HI,
After lot of reading on the forum, I have finally jumped into the Stereo bandwagon by ordering the PM5004 from the HiFiMart , and am now looking for suitable speakers to go with it. I will try to audition the speakers over the weekend, but wanted to get an idea why bookshelf speakers (below approx 20K) goes well with the PM5004, so that I can shortlist the ones I should try and see which one suits my (and my wife's) music taste (which is pretty wide given that me and my wife has different taste for music, but its mostly rock, pop & hindi movies). Also, please let me know the suggested dealers where I can try out the suggested speakers.

Wharfedale BS 9.2 / 10.2 / Tannoy Mercury / polk rti BS / Aviano 2 /
PSB Image 6 in 25k range / KEF Q300 a little higher ......are some of the best BS options.....

Thanks spirovious ! Someone recently in the form bought Monitor Audio M2 with Marantz PM5004 and seems to be happy with that combo. Will try this out.

Thanks for all the suggestions ! Finally settled for Wharfdale Diamond 10.2 . Bought from Mr. Masood (Total Sound), who was very helpful while the auditions. Would also like to appreciate Mr. Palani from Audio Planet, who explained a lot of things to me and spent quite some for the auditions at his shop.
