Surround abd Back speakers placement

Hi ,
I have my surround and back speakers ( 7.1 config ) hanging from the wall in my speaker setup ..the back of the speakers virtually touches the wall.
Do you think its impacting sound quality too much .. Somehow dont get the feel of surround even though i use 5.1 DVDs . Sometimes sound does not come from back speakers

If connected properly and not back ported, the sound should be fine. Compared to the Fronts and Center, surrounds and sub usually sit around lazy most of the time unless the specific chapter played in rich with ambient noises and surround effects. Try these disks if available
