I have a Tag Mclaren 100:5R amplifier and I would like to bi-wire a pair of Proacs speakers.
I only hear music in stereo mode, so I only use 2 amplification channels of the 5 available independent modules. The Proac speakers have the possibility to bi-wire.
What I would like to do is to use 4 amplification modules (1 for left bass, 1 for left treble, 1 for right bass, and 1 for right treble) giving the Proacs more power.
I am aware that in the past some people have linked the Pre-amplifier (Tag Mclaren AV32R Dual Processor) to the amplifier through a 1 RCA to 2 RCA.
As far As I understand this solution is not good because the signal will weaken when you split it.
What is the best solution to put the 4 channels working and giving power to the Proacs?
Thanks for your suggestions and opinions.
