Tata Sky HD channel sound quality is very poor

Hi,

Tata Sky HD channel sound quality is very poor. I have to push volume all the way to 60 to 70 in my AVR to get audible sound. Tata Sky HD is connected to AVR-X1100W through HDMI cable and AVR to TV is also HDMI cable. Are there any settings I have to do? If I run Blu-ray movies in my HT with DD sound no issues even volume 40 and 45 gives best sound.

I have checked previous thread but i could not find solution for my issue.

I have also noticed that on HDMI to AVR connection the sound is low.Have you checked the sound settings on the set top box? Is it set to DD out for HDMI? Also try connecting Tata Sky box to AVR by optical or coaxial cable.It may provide better sound. Send the HDMI directly to the TV for video.
