Seeing the videos in youtube, I am dumbstruck with this thumb sized device that does so much! It runs Android 4.0, and with 1GHz processor, speed is more than sufficient. It also supports Google play, and it can boot from Ubuntu. It costs around $80, requires USB based bluetooth keyboard, and more importantly, uses HDMI to connect to a TV for both audio and video. And you can connect external USB drive for audio/video source.

Here is the review from someone.

So what I am hoping is that audio comes off HDMI, and so, at the minimum, I can connect it to my AVR's HDMI and use the DAC of HDMI and get some decent sound.

So obvious question is, how to introduce and external DAC in this path?

(I have opened a thread in my Google plus, for non-audiophile centric discussion.)
