This song song was released on September 14, 2012 but till date I love it at-most.

How many of you have listen this awesome track? And any words for this song?
If not, then which is your favorite English track???

Never mind, This priyanka song was fair, however there are far far better English songs available. And not to forget her voice was modified using various sound techniques.
This is like, once in a childhood I heard Titanic song 'My Heart Will Go On' and then I used to tell friends that it's my favorite English song !! The fact is, I had not listened any other English song by that time ;-)

I just learnt a new English word 'Astroturfing' (courtesy: Thad E Ginatham mentioned in another thread). Hope it's not the same for this Priyanka Chopra single :-)

Beatles are responsible for taking my soul away from desi music. But that's not to say I don't listen to desi tunes any more. Desi tunes still take a large pie in my collection as well as play-list which not only cosists of English but other also several other European/African/Asian languages.

But since this thread is specifically about English numbers here are some the regulars. Dire Straits, Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Eva Cassidy, Shania Twain, Elton John, Alison Krauss, Alanis Morisette, Bee Gees, Beatles. Besides those a number of flavor of the month bands/artists.

No offence to anyone posting on this thread, but it would be wonderful to have people post about music that is not from their formative years. While it is most definitely natural to feel passionate about music that we grew up with, the fact that we still only talk about them - doesn't it mean we have stagnated?

Worst of all - we catch ourselves saying how modern music has gone to the dogs or something similar - isn't that an excuse or a cover up for the fact that we have stopped making the effort to discover the truly great music of this era? Aren't we clinging on to the past a bit too much? Even great trees wither and die if they stop growing.

Again, please don't take offence - I'm not being judgmental on anyone, just sharing some internal thoughts. It would be wonderful if we posted about modern musicians and modern compositions for a change. I feel like we are all stuck in a time warp. I want to keep reminding myself that I need to make a special effort to constantly discover what's new and good. Yes, there's plenty of crappy music but that was also the case in the golden 60s or whatever timeframe you choose. We've filtered the good stuff from the ages, and so we need to do the same for the current music.

For example, this song is really good!

Well here is nothing like the English word you learn 'Astroturfing' going on; and i didn't even said that this is the only best English song. I just quoted that as of now I'm liking it, that's it!

And moreover this thread is dedicated for all English lovers so just chill and keep sharing your favorite English numbers guys:)
