Toshiba 32AV700E for Rs 22000 only

Toshiba 32 inch LCD TV which is HD ready is available for Rs 22000 at Foodrite, Mumbai. Model is 32AV700E and MRP is Rs 30000. The same is being sold in hypercity at Rs 28000. Is it a good LCD?

Yes it is a good LCD. Check older threads for the "BUTS" wrt this particular LCD.

Sorry if I'm a little late in replying but I was busy with a new toy. "BUTS" means "jo daal ko kaala kar sakta hai" meaning some things you should be aware of before buying. Which is mostly to do with Toshiba'a ASS (after sales service). Since Toshiba does not have that big a presence in India (how many Toshiba ads have you seen?) there is some apprehension as to how their after sales service might be. All this, as Madbullram has rightly pointed out, is IF the TV becomes defective. We are simply looking at a worst case scenario. So best thing to do is find out from the dealer. Make it clear that in the event of any problem it will be his head you will eat.
At the price the TV is retailing for, it is very good. Japanese maal @ Chinese price.
