Upgrading DENON Precision audio component surround amplifier AVC1880

Hello all,
I have this perfectly working system "DENON" Precision audio component /AV surround amplifier AVC1880, but it lacks separate inputs for 5.1 channels for connecting to a DVD 5.1 player.Is it possible for such a mod ? it has only left and right output but gives out on centre, sub etc thx

I don't think that a mod is good for AVR... Your DVD player should have digital output... If you don't have one, consider replacing your DVD player with digital output and easy connectivity...

btw which brand of DVD player do you own & model # ?
