My son plans the above - I have a lot of experience of home audio, but little of car audio. While I am sure that some basics remain the same, I don't know much about the different components involved and good/bad by makes/models.
His tastes are also different from mine - he likes EDM, pop, hiphop and the like.
He has replaced the HU to a Pioneer AVH 5590 BT.
Now he wants to change the OE speakers, and do all the Dynamat stuff in the doors.
His options are:
1. JBL GTO 804EZ amp
2. Blaupunkt GTA 470DSP
3. Front components - Focal iss 165
4. Rear - Focal iss 165 coaxials
He doesn't want the changes to be visible inside the car, so use the same cutouts and locations of the OE units. Only giveaway will be the front tweeters.
No sub required, all speakers to be powered by the new amp.
Questions therefore - which amp?
