thanks Kieth...useful information but unfortunately most of it was overhead transmission for me

the author seemed really cheesed off about folks asking about impedence in amps and speakers...wonder if he took the time out to understand the background they came from or did he assume they were all ill-educated engineers? takes me back several years to the day I annoyed a senior audiophile/equipment maker with my 'stupid' questions...

will have to go through the article a few times to understand it...or enrol myself into engineering night school...

I'm trying to put together a surround sound system for music and movies. I bought a Onkyo TX-NR626, It's all I can afford. I would like to add a second powered sub. What do you think? I already have Bose Acoustimass 7 and a powedred sub connected. I'm not to happy with the end result. On a budget.
