Will the TV purchased in Canada work in India? If not then we'd sell it.

Yes definitely it will work. I got a Samsung 32 inch LED from US in 2013 and it is working fine without any issues(with a step-down voltage convertor).

Thanks man. Really don't want to sell it. However couldnt find any resources online to confirm it'd work in India or not.

Another question. If my wife is the only person who's returning and she has a limit of 46Kg. How much extra do we need to pay for the 46" TV? What's the process of carrying TV's. Also will Indian Customs create any problems?

A decent samsung/LG full HD 42-48 inch(2013 model, considering the above TV is also of the same year ) should cost about 50-60K in iNDIA.When you get this TV back to india ,

You need a converter
Customs will tend to get couple of 1000 for sure no matter what
Baggage cost

all the Above could be close 10-12K . I believe your TV is 46 inch , If you think its worth , then go ahead else dispose of the TV and can buy a new one in india with warranty .


HAd it been a big TV(65-70 inch above )it would have been worth the pain .
