Yes you can. But I would suggest you instead try going for around 1.5kVA home UPS which will power your entire household with the Plasma. You can run it in UPS mode to withstand power fluctuations.

My Inverter is Luminious and TV is 32" Sony it does not work when power goes. I tried it use by inserting one old CVT before TV it worked. Everytime attaching CTV to TV is cumbersome as CTV is very heavy. can there be some circuit which can be used to make TV adaptable on inverter
