Steve Deckert is an old timer, and has for many years offered a range of DECWare tube amps( and kits). I think he now offers other products.

Did you try to sample his amps during any of your US jaunts? There are a lot of people singing hosannas about his Torii Amp which he sells for relatively affordable 1495USD. He has apparently also designed a new full range speaker named FRX costs 600USD e.a which is apparently back ordered for several months.
