Today, in an event held in Mumbai, VU has launched a new TV series which is called the VU Cinema TV and they run Android TV

Looks like VU is fighting back Iffalcon/TCL, 500 nits brightness is segment first as we usually get 270-300 nits in this segment plus you get soundbar too. Nokia(rebranded Flipkart) 55 inch TV was launched at 42k with 400 nits plus soundbar as differentiator, VU has one again set a new benchmark for cheap TV's.
