Vu Pixelight 2017 vs Toshiba 5050 vs 7980

I am planning to upgrade my Vu 4K Pixelight from 2017 to either of these Toshibas. All of these TVs are made by Hisense. I think the Vu is H8C.
Do you think that it is worth the upgrade? What is the difference between 5050 and 7980 from Toshiba?

The biggest difference is the Full Array local dimming available on U7980 series

Yes a HDMI cable does make difference in Video Quality. Though brands wont matter but the material and data transfer speed matters. I generally use Amazon Basics HDMI to avoid any unnecessary hassle
