Want to Connect SET TOP BOX with Projector.

I have a Sun DTH old STB(SN9000IR) with output of S Video, RCA and co-axial TV out. I want to connect to Dell M110 projector which has input HDMI, A/V in, Universal I/O and USB. Which cable will work fine and is it need to buy a analog to digital convertor?

With old STB, you can connect with RCA cable (Just yellow video out connector will suffice). Any local good cable is more than enough. You don't have much simpler and cheaper option.
For audio, you will need separate input system.

Tried by connecting 2 RCA to 3.5mm A/V cable. Not successful. Projector showing no signal.

settop box has 3 rca out, 2 for audio and 1 for video, kindly check what u putting in projector.

Thanks for reply. First I tried by connecting red rca cable on video out and 3.5 mm A/V to projector. Not successful. Then I tried with white rca cable to video out still not successful.
Note : sorry . I forget to mention. my projector do not have RCA input but have 3.5 mm A/V input.

The ideal way to connect your STB (which does not have an HDMI OUT) with the projector is to use a RCA TO HDMI convertor.

Check the pictures of STB output and Projector input. I tried by 2 rca to 3.5mm a/v jack.
i'm planning to change SUN DTH STB with new one instead of buying convertor because RCA to HDMI convertor price higher than new STB price.

thanks for replay. Today i bought 3RCA to 3.5mm a/v jack. It is working fine . 3.5mm a/v jack must be 4 division otherwise it will not get proper connection. Please refer following picture.
