Weird speaker functionality required

hi everyone,

i would like a speaker set up in my dining and living room area that can be set up in a way that the music can be played in all areas simultaneously.. or just in one of the areas.

secondly, i would like a player that I can put aside in one corner and want least amount of wiring to go around my house.

what is the starting point of doing this set up. Budget isn't a constraint.

if I can extend the coverage to another room and control all this via a bluetooth device (ipad/phone) - it would be even more amazing.

if someone has a setup or another thread that discusses the same, please feel and point me to it.

also - if this thread is in the wrong area, please move it to the correct area.

I would not say that your requirement is either weird or strange.
No budget constraint, no wiring, multiple room audio, iPhone/ipad control, it all points to Sonos.

you can get two sets of stereo speakers. depending on your room constraints and size, either bookshelves or floorstanders. a lot of the stereo amps come with speakers a and b output. so you can select to have on either a or b or both
