Always good to hear the odd updates about Whitener who still hasn't gone away yet. Who knows what will happen, but patience would seem indicated given the track record. Not sure the world needs a boutique 12AX7, but, if, like the 300B, it can aid bootstrapping of other things, there's little bad to say about more choices in a marketplace.

When the 300Bs were revived and released during the pandemic. I got a few of them. They are presently in use in my SE amp built by Viren. Sound superb.
