Wharfdale MS-100 with Yamaha RX-373

I am planning to get the following setup for a price of 55K in Chennai.

1. Wharfdale MS-100 speakers
2. Yamaha RX-373 AV receiver.

Is any one in the forum owning the above mentioned wharfdale speaker setup? Any comments? The dealer in Chennai is not able to provide a demo of the same. Interested to know any feedback from forum members who have already got the system.

i suggest get wharfe 10 (if avilable 9 will be also fine and cheaper than 10 too..)
for 10 as it is rear ported check the space from walls are they avilable in your place...
much better than the moviestar package.
your budget will increase
you can go step by step.buy centre,fronts now.
wharfe/sonodyne rears and a strong sub from velodyne/astonia/sonodyne slf later........

sorry no 1st hand exp about yamaha amp and whardale sound signature...

I Have demoed Wharfdale MS-100. Its quiet good for its price. Yamaha RX-373 is also very good. Wharfedale speaker have slightly warm sound and Yamaha can complement it by its sound signature.
If you can also demo Tannoy HTS101. They will cost you around 36-37k. They are exceptional speakers. I have demoed them. They also won What Hi Fi 5 star award.
