What can i use the Wifi in AVR for ?

I have recently bought a Yamaha RXV585 which comes with BT & Wifi . BT we are familiar connecting our Devices with our Mobile .

AVR Wifi I an little new I know we can control the AVR with our APP is there any useful things we can do with that .

This Thread will help many newly upgrading members to make effective use of it .

It can be used for Spotify or internet radio, if the AVR supports it or for online software upgrade.

I use the following use cases

• Airplay (if your AVR supports it)
• Integration with home automation (e.g. dim lights when entertainment unit is on)
• Direct streaming from spotify ( Internet radio too if you are still into that kind of thing)
• App based control
