Hi Folks,

I often see 1 or 2 channel driven mentioned in the Home theater or AVR specification's page. What is this really mean? Is this like they have tested for each speaker individually?

BTW what is the total RMS power of Onkyo S3400? They have mentioned that 120w/ch, 6ohms, 1 channel driven. So each speaker is capable of producing 120 W maximum?

Thanks

1 ch is single channel, say front right.2 ch is Left & Right both at the same time.
Many time AVR cant output full power when all 7ch are working. So manufacturer often write specification in single/2 ch driven to show more power of their product.

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
