What is your favorite HDMI cable brand?

I use 2 Cables;

vDH - HDMI Flat
&
Chord - Active Silver Plus 1.3

Holland & UK respectively.

I like them.

I purchased them from India - used on my Pana ST50 - 50 [Happy with the performance] !!

After MX, Belkin has most VFM HDMI cable. Their quality is also good. Cheap Chinese cable may face HDMI handshake issues.

DAC is good enough. There is no reason to spend 10kon HDMI cable. I bought DAC 2 meter for Rs 1400 last week. 1 meter was for Rs 1200.

QED and Chord are great. But Belkin is VFM and Logitech is good too although Logitech isn't selling HDMI anymore.

Almost ordered it - but all FM's shot the idea down - saying HDMI Cables do not make a difference;
However, to my non videophile eyes, the vDH & the Chord are miles ahead of the ordinary HDMI Cables that the HD Box supplies etc.
On my Video Server [ATI Card] & Panasonic ST Series, I can 'see' the difference.
Am so glad that I have some support here;;;

This we might be able to test. Can you take screenshots of your wallpaper with both the cables and post it for comparison. This way we can see if there is any difference.

Get any HDMI Cable with you.
We will run both the Cables - A [yours] & B [mine] & swap HDMI Inputs on the Plasma [ST 50] & if there is a diff - we will know - else - I have been 'had' !!
What more can I recommend;;;
The diff is visible to me & to a dear friend of mine from Kodak India [2nd in charge] - not that I am a 'videophile' - but there are things to be 'seen' !!

p.s. I generally use Gladiator Blue Ray - as content - to view the 2 different cables;;:licklips:

I always used the HDMI cables supplied by the manufacturer, Tata sky HD, Videocon D2h zapper, LG Blue ray etc, these manufactures or service providers will not downgrade their own products by supplying low end interconnects.

Have used two HDMI cables bought in China for around Rs 3-400 each. Both excellent. One of them, a 2m with a 90 deg on one end!

What about those connection lab cables? I sometimes see very good opinions on them and then nobody else knows this company...:/ I got their wall plates, it's fine but cables are more demanding piece of equipment. I wonder wheather to buy it or not but I may try...
