I used to love Manowar during my (wild) grad days...now I find them a bit cheesy IIRC they held some kinda record for the loudest show surpassing Deep Purple...

Dislike metal intensely, and have way too many favourite rock albums to name here, but for sheer impact on first listen, one of my most memorable albums is still Quadrophenia by The Who

problem with wild days was, we were not having good audiophile systems (at least in my case)
So try to listen MANOWAR now with your system and see how special the sound effects this group was using.

I also hate the 'real tr00 metal' thingy.Its all music,try to enjoy rather than d1ckridng on specific subgenres/genres.
