Hi Guys, thanks to your inputs - picked up the CDP + AMP (Marantz 6003) combo at 710 - 34 (GST) = 676 SGD ie INR 23.5K. Steal price...!

A big thank you to all of you for timely inputs helping my purchase...

Initial impression - I am playing the CDP + AMP combo with the speakers from my earlier HiFi Setup (Sony) and there is no marked improvement in audio quality... Speaker selection starts from this weekend..!

Any suggestion for speakers for creating a laidback, low treble, good mids (aka the lyrita audio experience) are welcome...

Audition the Quads as they have the signature you are looking for (IMO).

Hi Murali, budget is 25K INR - considering Singapore is dirt cheap as compared to India, I might have one picked up from there. Need to however audition and finalize here...
