My thoughts!!
If one is lucky a decent tap deck ( technics/sansui/sony/tech/kenwood) can be acquired for 2.5- 4 K.
Being an infrequent visitor to chor bazaar ( once- twice in a yr) in Mumbai I remember the delers there were flushed with Tape Decks 3-4 years back.
Now of course availabality is low.
Also no used dealers are touching tape decks - or tapes do not have charm like records till now-- so there is possibality that a lot of people have old tape decks!!
Be patient search - check other advertisements too and you will get a good deal
In fact if it is Rs 1-2 K - this is the amount you can risk!
