I am based at Ajmer in rajasthan.

I am on the lookout for 2-3 DTH boxes with DVR and HD.

Which one should I buy? Airtel/Reliance/Tata Sky?

Tata Sky (Even the regular HD DTH w/o DVR) is not in stock across Rajasthan, after the relaunch of the new box. Their customer care person has promised to get it delivered to me in Delhi, the moment it is available (the DTH DVR HD).

Help me out!! I will need the boxes before the world cup.

If ur in a urge to buy a hd dth,Tata sky is best ,if it is not available till the last second then u can opt for sun hd which has 8 hd channels there is no dvr, but not airtel mate.

If saving money buy buying same brand is not your aim Buy 3 STB of Diff brands ,so in case of problems like Rains 2 or least 1 should work. You can hedge your risk in this way

Of course I would not like to spend 2-300/- extra per month per connection.

I will keep some cable connections.

Since Airtel is being discouraged for HD DTH with DVR, how about Reliance or Videocon or Tata Sky (if available) or Dish Tv?"
which of them will have the best PQ and SQ (with minimum of blurring and ghosting etc.). My Tvs will be 32" and 46" HD.

I am confused!! (Multiple choices, more the confusion :-()

Tata SkY has launched HD PVR for Rs 3999 get it and ESPN HD is coming soon in TS for WC ...Nothing a better deal.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
