Hi all,

A small query regarding sound output.

1. Usage - 70% Movies 30% Music' (At present 5.1 later expanding to 7.1)

By adopting which methodology one can achieve great quality output.

1. Dedicated AVR with Speakers
2. Preprocessor with Multi channel Amplifier With Speakers
3. Using an AVR itself as a preprocessor and combining with a Multichannel
amplifier + Speakers
4. Dedicated 2 Channel Pre amp + good HT PreProcessor + Speakers

Kindly advise.

I admit this query is budget dependent as well. But however kindly share your pointers in this regard. (I am even ready to spent more. I want quality output for the investment.. thats all..!)

Thanks in advance.

Either (1) or (2) would be the way to go.
(3) is not really a great option, one need not get an AVR to use just as a pre pro, rather spend that money on a dedicated pre pro.
(4) That wouldnt work I guess, as you need a power amp(multichannel) to take the input from stereo pre/ multi channel pre pro and power your speakers.

So either go for a great one box AVR or a good pre pro+ multi channel power amp.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
