WiFi Android remote for Marantz

Hi, I have been using marantz android wifi remote downloaded on my Samsung Note-2 mobile. This application is very much unstable and most of the time it does not recognise my AVR 7008- it just hangs.
Any suggestions for alternative android wifi remote application for Marantz? Please help.

Check if your. Marantz connection to your WI Fi is stable.

Try a fixed ip for instead of DHCP

You are right that I should try a fixed IP instead of DHCP but I find that to be an expensive solution specially when I don't run a server or a website etc. If fixed IP is the only solution than I might have to do it.
