wireless USB audio from laptop

Hi friends,

I just want to know if the device with following specs is available.

A USB wireless audio transmitter and receiver.

1. The wireless USB transmitter should be able to stream digital audio from the laptop's USB port.
2. The receiver end gadget should be able to receive the transmitted digital signal and have digital out capability (either coaxial or optical). RCA outs are not needed. In a sense, the receiver need not have a built-in DAC.

The budget is under 10k

What you need is a device that will output USB audio or rca or spdif out after wirelessly streaming music files from your laptop. Not the other way around like you put it. You don't need USB wifi To plug into laptop.

what I essentially meant was a USB wireless DAC with digital out at the receiver end also.
Most of the wireless DAC's like NuForce/NAD etc do not have a digital out the receiver side.

Explore Apple's Airport Express.

A little different (WiFi) but could serve yr purpose, with the convenience and range of a WiFi router

Here u can even use normal optical cable because of adapter..
