Have read bad reviews on most places, does not play well, has problems with file formats etc. Will be useful to know actual users feedback to decide if its worth the price. I guess it can handle 3D is one of the extra offerings

IMHP it is. Because of android you can extend the functionality very easily, E.g. you can add a download app in media player itself.
