If you have money then go for 673 or a810 since the FS supports. But please note that the sensitivity is 89-90db for the FS and center, so i think even with 573, you will be happy .

no buddy,
my FS are 180w but 573 is 80w per channel somany suggested to change the avr ..thats y ...

Hi SAINATH,
Actually you can run your speakers with your RX-V573 itself. Generally high amp-low speakers or low amp-high speakers can work very well as long as the volume control is within the limit. I mean - you can drive it loudly, but not beyond a limit where you start hearing either "the clipping effort" or "the distorted sound effect". The clipping effect will come only when you have low amp-high speaker when driven at around 90 to 100% of the max volume. Other wise you won't have any problem. In fact why some one has to run at 90% of max volume in a normal/medium sized room inside an house ? It will seriously damage your ears (not the speakers as they can handle more power in your case) and the surroundings. So in real world, you will not be running at such a dangerous high volume. I agree if it is a party hall, then you need a much higher power amps, but not for domestic purpose. I stress again that your RX-573 will work very well with your speakers. So don't worry too much about the power of the receiver vs the power of the speaker. To put in simple words, a 100w amp will work with 200w speaker and vice versa (as long as you don't drive beyond a limit).

The ONLY important thing that you need to consider is speaker impedance. I guess RX-573 can handle even 6 ohm speakers (any high impedance will not be a problem). So your speakers should have an impedance setting of at least 6 or 8 (but not less than 6). Most of the amps can handle up to 6 ohm. Any thing lesser, then you need to go for bigger amps.

So nothing to worry. In fact in real world, your receiver/amp will not drive all the speakers at the same time with full power. Most of the power will go to the front/centre speakers. In case if you have a very big hall and want to drive your speakers much louder (say for having a party/function), then go for Aventage A810 or A1010. I guess that is not your requirement.

Again I repeat - a low amp-high speaker or vice versa will work as long as you don't push beyond the limit.

But that 180w is peak..right??

I think if you find it difficult to turn the volume of AVR to 3/4 of its total, you can simply opt for the a810 and also its the aventage series.
Yamaha says they are using much better components in the aventage series of AVRS. :)

Hi SAINATH,
I need a clarification. All the power ratings that you have quoted are continous power in RMS. Am I right ? Even if they are quoted in RMS, you need not worry about RX-573 driving it. If the quoted power rating is in PMPO, I guess you can even touch 90% of the max volume with your RX-573 (plz don't try this, just a theory). As I said before, make sure you set the impedance at 8 or 6 ohms, but not at 4 ohms.

I agree. If you see distorted sound or clipping sound at 3/4th or 90% of the max volume, then go for Aventage, but do you really drive at such a volume level ? If it is in a private room, you won't.

My vote is for Yamaha A-810 as it is having pre-outs, if you want more out put u can add an amp.
