Yamaha RX-V 471 :: Is HDMI (input) => Composite (Output)..Possible ?

Hi All,

Can RX-V 471, convert Digital to Analog i.e. HDMI to composite (vdo) / Component (RGB) output ?

471 cannot do that.

Well I'm not sure if any receiver could do this 'higher' to 'lower' signal pass? My current and previous Yamaha AVRs (incl RX-V1900) could no do it...

@Slash, why do you want to do this? Wouldn't you rather have the amp outputting video from HDMI?

Becoz..I have CRT TV in my Living Room It has no HDMI input..just composite & component inputs.
Sounds stupid, but I wanted to feed ARC HDMI cable into one of the AVR HDMI inputs...and expecting one of the outputs (Monitor or component out)
to relay Yammy's OSD for configuring settings.

Anyways.. I have memorized all remote inputs..so that I do not need to see them on screen (atleast func. like adjusting Levels / EQ etc)
