Can a Yamaha WXA 50 be used as a purely streaming device when connected to a separate Pre Power separate system

There are much better streamers available currently, WXA 50 is really bad.
Would suggest avoid it.

Just Buy a WiiM Pro Plus if you only want streaming and you are done. WXA 50 just for streaming is not a wise choice. If you want to spend extra look at the offerings from EVERSOLO Or BLUESOUND.

Buy a wiim pro instead or if you are open to using roon, get a fiio sr11.
