Yht 1840 subwoofer query

I read that this systems subwoofer is weak
So wanted to know can i conmect my old 2.1 subwoofer to subwoofer pre out of the reciver with help of 1male to 2male rca cable
Till the time i can afford an actual subwoofer

It's a passive sub and the builtin sub amp is only of 16w. So it lacks the thump. You can buy some sub amp circuit and hook it to the Sub preout.
