Better search the Television forum thoroughly, shortlist a few models and then ask for specific comparision between those two/ three models. This thread should be a good starting point: Re: 32 in LCD comparison by Spiro.

IMHO, Sony EX300( HD ready, INR 32900 - Apr'2010) is VFM, but EX400( Full HD, INR 39900 - Apr'2010), as I understood from this forum members, has enhanced build quality; if you are brand conscious and trust Sony, you could check these.
