Guys WD TV live can play 2D BD Iso but has no option to play 3D Isos. What are the best options to play 3D BD ISOs on TV? Any good media players available?

Hello,

Himedia HD900B or Xtreamer Prodigy, both are based on same chipset. Please google for respective websites and details.

Personally, I have been using 900b without any issues since last 18 months or so.

Thanks & regards,

Amit

WOW the Himedia HD900 specs are impressive. Some of the menu's are in chinese. Do you find any problem with this?

Its available on Amazon for USD 199. Did you try playing Netflix?

Hi,

You can select the language from the settings menu. I have been using custom firmware all along. No issues at all. I think, its one of the best player to play all the formats over network as well without any issues @ half the price as compared to the prodigy and i read that prodigy has issues of its own.

I think netflix requires a paid subscription and not available in India, I guess. There is a way out (VPN) but not interested to do that.

Thanks & Regards,

Amit

I am planning to get Himedia 900 b from US. I am reading on some forums that it initially had issues of SATA drive formatting and not retaining files after shutdown or something like that?

Did you face any issues using it as a client/sever?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This will be helpful. Plz do not format your hdd through the player. Never faced any issue after this... touch wood.. as the hadd now has around 2.4 gb data in a single partition.
