42" LED TV Samsung or LG?

Hi,

I am a newbie and looking out to purachase a LED TV.
My requirement 80% DTH and 20 % movie from my usb HDD

Got the below pricing.Is it worth the pricing? or can i wait some more time for any reduction during Vinayaka chathurthi?

Samsung 40C5000 - 69500/-
LG 42LE5300 - 74300/-

Please help.

Have you checked 42lh90 from LG,last week I was given a quote of Rs.63,800 and that is the only full LED model in that price bracket,rest are edge LED and evn more pricey

LG LE5500 is better than Samy 6200.
White in Samy has yellow tint.Samy picture is not steafy in motion.

LG is cheaper and has same features like Samsung. Picture and sound quality is same. Samsung scores better only in design.

Just get a samsung C630 or the sony EX500 at less then 53k in grey market.
