5.1 sound through computer speakers?

Is there a way to connect my computer's speakers (having 5.1 channel, but no optical in or coax in) to Seagate Freeagent Theatre+ via 3.5mm jack and still get surround sound????

If speakers have pseudo surr mode(say DD prologic like)then only possible(pseudo surround,not actual).Else only 2 ch.

Philips uses coaxial connector mostly & you may need to use a converter-

Following speakers systems are said to have AC3 in(mostly spdf)in.
