5.1 speakers for onkyo

Thanks for your input and i think i agree with your inputs, i will go ahead and take my AVR for auditioning purpose. I have decided to get A3 for surround also. FXi A4 is also 5 1/4 and so is A1 both will be a mismatch to 6 1/2 for RTi A3 and CSi A6. My major usage will be Movies as well.

Also A3 are one driver and Centre A6 is 2 drivers. Wouldnt this leave the front under powered.

Also one more question how much is SVS PB12, and how much gain is it over DSW Pro 550.

For movies center is more important than fronts, hence the combination will be fine. Sometime I felt that my front floor standers are dominating over center.

It is better to audition the center with A3 as well as A5. Take your favorite movie DVDs/BDs as well.

SVS PB12 Plus costs just above 1Lacs. It will take up your entire budget. I was looking for SVS PB12 NSD, but that model was out of stock and SVS informed that it will take 6 months+ to start shipping. I couldn't wait that long, hence I selected the next model.

If you have patience and expecting more money to be available over next few months, you can go step by step (like front+center first, Sub later, surrounds afterwards etc. But you will have to wait for the entire setup to complete for real entertainment.

Klipsch uses horn tweeter, many people don't like that. I also read on this forum that Amplifiers of Klipsch are failing. Better to avoid Klipsch, unless you like it more than other makes

That is way too much money for a subwoofer, i guess that will have to wait for a long time :P , if i had to bump up my budget i will do it for the MK sound, they sound really balanced and i auditioned them with Onkyo, Also another plus is even they are THX certified.

A5 being floor Standers are currently in the list, but in future when i decide to make the system 7.1 they will be the top priority.

I heard Klipsch did not like them, another contender that has popped up is Jamo, will be listening a little more of them over the weekend.

Once again really thanks for all the inputs :)

I heard the mordaunt shorts today, they are really awesome. I think i might go ahead with them. I heard PSB B6 too, but felt Mordaunt's to be in a different league.
