I am looking for new 5.1 set.

I am getting below Polk Audio deal for 57k. Guys suggest how it will be with Yamaha RX-671 or suggest something else in this range.

Below Wharfedale Pkg for Rs. 76k

Wharfedale Diamond 9.5 FS
9CS Center
Diamond 10 DFS
SW 150 Sub


Also please let me know where to get best deal on the same in Bangalore ?

MS Aviano series, Monitor audio - Audioplanet, back to koramangala bda complex (need prior appointment).
Wharfdale - total sound, JP nagar or vector systems , brigade road.
polk - Profx , MG road.
Sondodyne 5.1 - Croma, Eva mall, brigade road.

Better take prior appointment and take your AVR and have demo.

Have you already purchased the Yamaha? different AVRs sound different with different speakers. From you choice I feel Wharfs would go better with yamaha than polk, but you need to listen and then decide. Also the wharf SW150 is a highly rated sub.

I would also suggest to demo as many different speakers as possible with perhaps Marantz and Denon also, and then decide. As praveen has pointed out above all are good names in speakers............Mordaunt Short, Boston Acoustics, Mission, Paradigm, Wharfedale, etc.

I already have taken the AMP...Yamaha RX-671.

I found Wharf better than TSi although i am not the expert ;-)......

Any price suggestion for below ones ?

Even i booked Wharf 9.5 and 9Cs center on monday (for 41k from vector systems). Surround and sub may be later..

10 DFS might come to 11 to 12k? remaining sub? you can ask hifimart for good deal.

but Hifivision offer is good wharf 9.5 5.1 HTB + marantz 5005 for 99k only

Even I booked from Vector too for 51k 9.5 FS & SW150 sub......will take 9CS & 10 DFS soon.........hope these will not disappoint me along with my Yamaha RX-671

actually HFV package is good 99k for Wharf 9.5 HT + marantz 5005... but I cannot afford 1L at one shot... so
