5.1 With optical/coaxial input?

Hi,
Can anybody suggest me a Home Theater with Optical and Coaxial Inputs, for around 10K?

You can get Philips HTiB with digital in with Budget of 15k around.

10k .. even if you use optical the speakers wont do justice to the source...

try increasing it a bit and get philips or logi-z5500

Thanks for your reply. Logi Z5500 is around 17K so, not possible for me. May be I can look in to Philips if something around 12K. Can you suggest some model in Philips please?

Philips,Sony and LG have many HTiB models ranging from 7K upwards.....i think they include DVD players with optical out as well,not sure about coaxial.Just walk-in to a showroom and hear those out within ur budget.

I have checked almost all model with all brands, DVD players does have optical out, but none of the speakers have optical/coaxial in. All models with Optical/Coaxial input costs more than 15K.

oops sorry, i meant optical input not optical out.....i had got a Samsung 5.1 HTiB free with my purchase of an LCD and i remember playing PS3 via the HTiB's optical in.Its MRP was around 14 or 15k, but sale price was around 9k or so.Am pretty sure there are HTiB models that can easily fit ur budget that has optical in as well.

@ Imrahn, did the Samsung HTiB give you true surround when you connected PS3 to it?
For 9k it is damn good.
On the link you posted, the sound output is given as 850W RMS. That IS loud. And there is some wireless ready function whereby the rear speakers need not have wires trailing. Any idea about the cost of this wireless adaptor??

@shredder: I played couple games on my PS3 via the HTiB and optical input.....but the sound 'output' was strictly average.....do NOT purchase without an audition as the audio output may disappoint u,IMHO.The 850W RMS should be taken with a huge mountain of salt.Analog out via the DVD player was much louder than optical in.

The surround factor was very much there as well as clarity....with decent bass.I felt the loudness was lacking very much, but maybe it was just me.Also, the system was used just half an hour or so before i packed it up for sale.
