I'm curious about what others think about this cable. I'm not planning to buy anything atm but just curious to get an idea how something of this design would perform sonically...

Not sure which part of the cables you were trying to understand. Flat interconnects are not new. Goertz, Modern Audio Design, Nordost, ...Silver plated has been around for a while as well. So design wise its not new.

Since each cable has an influence on sound, this one will too. How good/bad am not sure as I have not used it.

I realize flat IC's aren't new but I've never seen a cable that wide that looks almost like a 90's IDE cable inside a computer. Wouldn't a wire spreading of the fibres make a signal more susceptible to interference?

pictures could be deceiving. without much specification on even the guage, I would suspect if they are worth buying. Also even if the insulation may seem broad, there might be lots of space inside as I understand that no. of conductors and their placement is the art in such designs.

Bottom line, not enough to comment on from the ad description.

The connectors in the picture look dirty and damaged, also adding silver does not mean the cable is better. These are just unknown unreliable Chinese cables which could be average quality or downright useless depending upon one's luck.
