My requirements for TV are:
  • Good Picture Quality for SD channels
  • Good Visual/Sound Experience for watching movies
  • Smart 3D Not Required
  • Budget ~ 30-40 K

I was so much after getting a Panasonic Plasma TV but since they have been discontinued.

I am stuck with either getting the entry level LG or SAMSUNG entry level plasma TV.

LG model (LG 42PN4500) does have have better pixels than Samsung model ( Samsung 43H4100 )

Which one should I go with If I have to. But if the HD quality and regular visual experience would be poorer.
Shall I rather go with getting 32 inch Sony or Panasonic LED?

There is another option which is a bit overpriced for my budget that is Panasonic Viera PLASMA TH-P42XT50D model available at amazon.in. It is priced at 49500. I am little bit skeptic about getting the TV via an online shop. How will the wall mounting and setting fare in this case?

I live in Chandigarh, the TV will be shipped from Delhi.
The other options are available in local market.

Please suggest good folks.

Either LG 42PN4500 for around 34K HD Ready (or) Samsung 43H4900 HD Ready + 3D model for around 40K.... Both are good for SD viewing...

Out of these two models, LG will not decode DTS soundtracks on BR Rips... Smasung does decode both Dolby & DTS soundtracks....

LG has only 1 HDMI input, but Samsung has 2 HDMI Inputs...

I would recommend you to go for LG PN4500 or Samsung F4900 which are really really good plasma TVs. The PQ is much much better when compared to a LED of it's size. That doesn't mean LED TVs are bad. If you want less electricity bill, $exy slim design then check Sony LED TVs.

Which one is rcommended then...LG Ln4500 or Samsung H4900

Hey buddy, which one will u suggest if diff is just 3-4K between two.

LG is more bright. This is against the reviews by many online reviewers.
