hi,
a new wind seems to be blowing at Epos..
They have launched a new range of speakers - K series - which can be converted to active (with their inhouse creek amp and detachable rear baffle !! ).
K3 Loudspeaker Epos Acoustics
Epos Acoustics
The old Epic / Elan class of speakers etc... seems to be discarded ( not on the website ) or the website is not showing it ( under construction maybe )..
Looks a new avatar of Linn in a lower price bracket may be what Luke Creek is aiming for..with speakers with an inbuilt amp + dac and a suite of connectivity portions and all front slot ported...
Convenience + good sound is a nice combo...especially when couched in a good looking package.
The audiophiles would be happy to have an amp with a Creek pedigree housed inside the Epos speaker.
An active sub is on the menu too !!
Its a good way to differentiate i think ( Sonodyne is on the same path too )
)
and maybe something to ponder over for folks wanting to purchase audio grade stuff
regards
