Advice Sought on Building Dedicated HT

Would brick without mortar be allowed by these society custodians? Then you should consider Wienerberger - POROTHERM THERMO BRICK They use some chemical compound instead of mortar. The bricks have thermal properties which will help you cut down heat - i have seen a demo of the laying and it is completely non-messy.

@ Narenkum and R_S_Dhar - I do not have a dedicated HT Room but have done my other rooms based on designs from that website is what I meant.. I have done a kitchen island, a larder unit, the TV units from that website including beds as well...

The cooperative housing society's act does not allow permanent structures to be put up on the terrace, although people have often interpreted 'permanent' to mean anything put up without a steel-and-cement terrace. I just do not want to get into a squabble with my flat mates. Therefore 'bricks' of any kind is a strict no.

GI steel and profile metal sheet is not an elegant solution. But what could I do?
