Airtel HD and ESPN HD? ,,,ok to get?

Hi,

There are so many threads I and I am getting completely confused.
I only watch Football and would like to have ESPN HD in my room, we already have a Airtel SD connection in the living room.

I was just thinking of adding a second STB which is HD and have that for the room. Does this seem ok? ...and I only want to watch ESPN HD so is there an HD only package? Rest I can always see in the living room anyway...

Does Airtel even have ESPN HD?
Also how is the Airtel HD anyway? Also how is the HD recorder?

Please help me out, the season has started and I would like to get this done asap. Thanks a lot for all the help.

Right now ESPN HD is only available on the D2H platform.

On the Phone Airtel said yeah they have it...
And book an appointment for the same day.

The guy came to install I asked him if the had ESPN HD and he said they dont...I asked him to leave.

Hi, dont know about their channels, but in a recent survey of all Indian DTH operators, Airtel was ranked on top in terms of service and technology, much ahead of tata sky or dish tv. so, if they do have the channels you need, then airtel would be a great choice.

No ESPN on any service provider except Videocon D2H HD ..... I would say go for it and get the HD pack ... trust me you would love it ..

theoritically any one can be the best.. lets see practically...

and the survey you stated.. ranks videocon d2h on top..

Who conducted the survey. With my experience (I still have the connection active) the worst of all DTH operators in customer service is Airtel.

Dont turn your head to Airtel. They are never going to add them anytime soon. Attached the response i have received when asked this to Airtel

I would suggest Tatasky (they have track record of adding channels sooner than others) or videocon (if you want it at the time installation)
