Dear all,

I have connected my Airtel HD+ DTH to my Samsung home theatre via SPDIF cable and the HDMI out of my DTH goes to the TV.

I wanted to get DD plus out from DTH via SPDIF cable to my home theater but it seems like it doesn't support DD plus.

My Samsung TV doesn't support DD plus, so connecting my SPDIF from TV to home theatre is out of question.

Any suggestions/ Solutions will be highly appreciated.

Yes optical is limited to Dolby digital. Anything above, you need HDMI. If your Samsung supports ARC, you could use that connected to the TV. If not, then you could try a HDMI splitter which splits an incoming HDMI to two outputs, one going to TV and other to your HT.

I can sympathize with you, I have the same issue and can't do anything about it because of financial constraints.
